Cannabichromene (CBC) is what we call CBD’s pain-fighting sister.
CBC is a powerful non psychoactive phytocannabinoid (like CBD) that can be used for relief of inflammation, chronic pain, gastric motility, mood enhancement, etc.
CBC works by interacting with receptor sites TRPV1 and 5-HT1A, both of which play a huge role in neuropathic pain. CBC has proven to be equally effective as prescribed anti-inflammatory medications.
CBC also demonstrates neuroprotective qualities that help to stimulate the production of new neurons, significantly improving brain health and preventing the onset of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s.
In combination with THC, it displays mood-elevating properties and works primarily to support the bodies endocannabinoid system and receptors that influence pain and inflammation.
